Pakistani actor Muneeb Butt expressed his concerns and thoughts on the hit Turkish drama series Ertugrul. He also shared how the Turkish historical epic has impacted the Pakistani entertainment industry.

Muneeb Butt has been keeping a low profile in showbiz as of late. While the actor is more focused on his family these days, raising his beautiful daughter Amal with his lovely wife and fellow actress Aiman Khan, he still pays close attention to the social media trends in Pakistan.

The most popular trend, that has been going around for quite a while now, is the Pakistani public love and craze for Turkish epic Ertugrul.

“Everyone after watching Ertugrul is against our industry now, about how why don’t we make such dramas. In my personal opinion, dramas like Ertugrul are rarely produced. I am its biggest fan personally, but Ertugrul has now set a new standard. As a result, fingers are raised towards our industry. People are asking why we don’t address history and why don’t we work in such projects…”

  1. Stop. making films on love stories on loving bhabi. Bahoo. SAS
DID u make films on Mohammed bin Qasim?

  2. Oh, please shut up and man up to a series that has an immense impact on so many countries in the world. You Pakistani actors fall short of the professionalism and talent of the actors in the series who portrayed a real live hero. And…it was based on Islam and justice…not those mushy, mealy type of shows you all produce that shows only the bashing of wives/daughterinlaws by horrible motherinlaws and husbands…shows without any meanings whatsoever. So wake up and think about producing a show that has historical meaning….there is so much of that in Tyrkey. Pakistan has none whatsoever.
