Bappi Lahiri’s death soon after the loss of Lata Mangeshkar has left a huge vacuum in the entertainment industry. Veteran artists like them constituted a major piece of cultural assets.
Bappi Lahiri, often known as Bappi Da, provided some iconic Bollywood soundtracks. From Yaad Aa Raha Hai Tera Pyar, Raat Baaki Baat Baaki, Bambai Se Aya Tera Dost, and more. Particularly his compositions for the films Sharabi and Disco Dancer.
