Despite her noble background and skills as a ruler, Osman’s other wife is more of a fan favorite. The woman who stood by him through it all. Her skills as a warrior and soft heart are why people compare Bala Hatun to Halime Sultan. Yet Malhun was wise and advised Osman on many occasions.

  1. I don’t understand why the sudden migration if only to send Bamsy Bey to his martyrdom. How did Togay learn of the migration to set a trap? Aygul and Carkety saw Bamsy being butchered by the Mongols yet, they stood there bewildered instead of trying to help him.
But then again in all Turkish films, there’s too much drama but especially too much corruption.

    • I loved Ertugrul, I like watching Osman, but I am sorry the writers really leave out many details, I do not like the way they leave characters out and lost for no reason, it does not make sense and also how many times, people get stabbed and do not die, is really a little silly

    • Bala, is definitely the one for me, I did like Malhun ,but I cannot believe that the writers let Osman marry another woman, Ertugrul stood by his wife, it just showed how weak minded Osman is,,,,,,,,I lost a lot of respect for the Muslim Religion,,,,,

      • I don’t like Malhun either , she has nothing for Osman to like , she is a warrior her character match Togai, instead .

    • I agree I Loved Bala, everything she did to get Osman, and how much he portrayed to Love her, telling her it did not matter if they did not have kids, was really very upsetting to me , I almost turned it off,

    • I don’t like Malhun either , she has nothing for Osman to like , she is a warrior her character match Togai, instead .

  2. I’m really disappointed the series had to go there with Osman marry that other person. I love Bala and her feminine ways plus as a good female warrior. I will discontinue watching the show, because seeing Osman with the other person could have been avoided even if history says otherwise. The other disappointed is seeing the pain Bala is in, it’s unfair. Bye Osman!

    • Bala is a good and has sympathy to mankind. But she is neglecting minor details. On the other hand Malhoon Hatun is wise and does not neglect the important minor details. This is the main difference between two females. Otherwise Iksu Hatun gave hint to Bala for traitor of close family member and Idrees (David) to Osman but both neglected the hints and thus faced big troubles.

      • What are you talking about Neglecting Minor Details, how many times in the Ertugrul series, are we told the woman should stay out of the Tribes problems, that it is a mans responsibility!! Bala, showed Courage, fighting skills, softness and courage many times, I can not believe you would say she neglected minor details,,, so Stupid of a Remark

  3. I don’t like Bala I am a fan of Malhun Hatun. Bala is nothing like Halime. I loved Halime

  4. I like Malhun hatun the most. Second wife is something of great charm😍😍😍😍😍

    • I think Bala hatun is great and doing what she is to do she cannot dispute her husband actions and I think it was wrong for them to have this second marriage Osman dad did do it not even after wife died til boys was grown nearly then it’s like she and Sav I had a thing what happened there I can’t get it in English on YouTube wish I could

      • I agree 100 percent Elizabeth, I lost a lot of respect for the Muslim religion

  5. I am a Man, and I was Heart Broken,I almost stopped watching the show, when I saw that Osman Married, Halime Sultan, big mistake, !! Ertugrul stood by his wife, this just showed be Bad judgement by the Muslim, Writers, I lost a lot of respect for the Religion

  6. I Love Bala best! Osman knew he may never have children with Bala, but he said it did not matter to him because he truly loved Bala. In order to remain as Bey of the tribe it was his duty to have an heir and they could not wait for Bala to conceive. Shame on the writer’s for casting a second wife. Mulhun Hatun needs to die off the show! Bala will remain the Favorite Wife in my eyes, she is Beautiful inside and out.
