The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a moving new anthem, “Main Apna Wada Nibha Raha Hoon,” as Pakistan continues to mourn the innocent lives lost in the recent escalation with India, including several schoolchildren killed in Balochistan.
The anthem, which has quickly captured the nation’s attention, pays tribute to the martyrs and heroes of Pakistan—both military and civilian—who have stood firm in the face of adversity. Its release comes at a time of deep sorrow, following a suicide attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan, that killed at least four children, the bus driver, and a security guard.
The anthem’s lyrics and visuals evoke the spirit of unity and resilience, honoring the sacrifices of the Shuhada (martyrs) and Ghazis (living heroes) who have defended Pakistan’s sovereignty. Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, described the martyrs as the “crown of our heads,” emphasizing that their sacrifices are the foundation of the nation’s security and dignity.

“Main Apna Wada Nibha Raha Hoon” also recalls the spirit of 1965, when the nation stood united against external threats. The song’s release has resonated deeply with the public, trending across social media and serving as a rallying cry for national unity in the face of tragedy.
