The Barmy Army continues to win Pakistanis’ hearts after tweeting another video yesterday, showing a young boy interacting with the English fans.

The boy, Daim, did not have a ticket to see the first Test match, so one of the Barmy Army members bought one for him.

The Barmy Army tweeted,

Meet Daim 👋 He joined us yesterday but didn’t have a ticket for today but one of our kind members helped him get a ticket for today and tomorrow 💚
Two nations, one sport.

Barmy Army

The Barmy Army is a company that provides tickets and arranges touring parties for some of its members to follow and support the English cricket team in the UK and abroad.

It started out as an informal organization but later developed into a company registered in England and Wales.

The English cricket team is currently in Pakistan for a historic Test series after 17 years. The three-match series began on 1 December at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Ben Stokes and his team kicked the first Test match off in emphatic fashion, scoring a record 506 for the loss of four wickets on Day 1. Their first inning finished on 657.

Babar Azam and the Shaheens are looking to close the massive deficit as they bat on Day 3.
