If you don’t have Ertugrul fever you might as well be living under a rock. Love it or hate it, that’s all Pakistanis are talking about these days. Whether its the Netflix version or PTV’s Urdu-dubbed Ertugrul Ghazi, the popular drama has swept the nation. In fact, PTV has already announced a release date for Season 2 and we can’t wait!
Of course, we always find a way to put our own spin on things and we’ve gone so far as to find our own Pakistani Ertugrul! Mustafa Hanif, a Karachi-based YouTuber, bears an uncanny resemblance to the famous Turkish actor.
We all know Ertugrul is so much more than just a face. Clearly, Hanif decided to embody all aspects of the character because he shot a video where he goes around righting wrongs and teaching lessons to Karachiites.
Better be careful with that sword right? Lest some copper mistakens him for something else.
Apparently, Hanif had been told previously that he looked like the actor but never paid much heed to it. It was only when he saw the drama himself with his family that he realized just how close the resemblance really was.
Maybe his Ertugrul-like looks will get him his shot to stardom. We’ve already started creating a Pakistani version of the show so who knows what’s next.
