After the revival of Pakistan film industry in the recent years, we have seen some top notch films being released. Pakistani movies have truly arrived.
Despite the number of cinemas in our country having decreased over the years, nonethless the movies released have done a great job at the box office. The addition of family-friendly and well-maintained multiplexes is also contributing to the rise in box office receipts in Pakistan.
For example, Nadeem Baig’s movie Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 collected 70 crore Pakistani rupees at the box office. While other movies such as Punjab Nahi Jaungi, Teefa In Trouble and Parwaz Hai Junoon collected Rs 50 crore, 51 crore and 43 crore respectively.
The occasion of Eid is considered as the perfect time for the release of a movie. This is the time when cinema halls are jam packed . Here we take a look at 4 Pakistani movies which are scheduled to release on this Eid Al Azha.
1. Parey Hut Love
The Romantic comedy featuring Maya Ali and Shaheryar Munawar in the lead cast revolves around the life of an unworried youngster who falls in love with a strong willed girl.
The plot of this film is based on the 1994 British film Four Weddings and a Funeral. The cast of the film also includes Ahmaf Ali Butt, Zara Noor Abbas, Nadeem Baig and Hina Dilpazeer. The film direction has been done by Asim Raza while it has been written by Imran Aslam.

2. Superstar
The gorgeous Mahira Khan will be sharing the screen space with the young and talented Bilal Ashraf for the first time. With little known about the film the trailer suggests the movie revolves around the subject of stardom.
Mahira Khan and Bilal Ashraf will be seen playing the roles of Noori and Sameer Khan respectively. The star studded cast also includes Alizeh Shah, Jawed Sheikh, Nadeem Baig, Asma Abbas and many more.

3. Heer Maan Ja
The Romantic comedy will see Ali Rehman Khan and Hareem Farooq play the lead roles. The film will see the two male and female lead parting ways with each other following a misunderstanding and later their reunion.
Directed by Azfar Jafri the film cast includes Faizan Sheikh, Aamina Sheikh, Ahmad Ali Akbar, Zara Sheikh and Mikaal Zulfiqar.

4. Zarrar
Shaan Shahid will be back in another patriotic-themed movie after success of Waar. Zarrar is being billed as one of the best Pakistani action flicks ever. The film will be told through the perspective of a spy and the contributions of our intelligence agencies in protecting the homeland from enemies.
The cast of the movie also includes Kiran Malik, Nadeem Baig, Adnan Butt, Nayyar Ejaz, David Laurence and Cyrille Mansuy.
