People remember supermodel Zara Abid as the country commemorates those that passed away in the PK8303 plane crash.
On May, 22, 2020 the national flag carrier, Pakistan International Airline’s flight PK8303 met with a fatal mishap as the airbus plummeted to the ground in Karachi. 98 people including passengers and cabin crew died on impact or from injuries.

PK8303 Tragedy
PIA flight PK8303 inbound from Lahore to Karachi crashed as the pilot was trying to land the airbus. Later Civil Aviation Authority officials stated that the cockpit crew, the control tower, and the air traffic control repeatedly made mistakes that resulted in a deadly crash.

The report said both the speed and the altitude of the aircraft were greater than the recommended parameters when the pilot first tried landing. The aircraft even touched the runway in the attempted first landing but then was airborne again, only to crash minutes later near Jinnah International Airport.
