The fifth edition of Pakistan Super League is just around the corner. And true to form, the annual release of its anthem was duly posted on YouTube on January 28th, 2020.
While it is at the top of the trending list on YouTube, the criticism it has been receiving is nothing short of brutal!
Let’s take a look at the video:
We understand that catchy songs take some time to actually catch on, but on your fifth attempt to listening to the song, you can’t get it out of your head! Despite the efforts of PSL, Tayyar Ho has gotten over 30k dislikes (and 50k likes, to our surprise).
Some argued that Ali Zafar has been the only artist to ever sing the anthem as beautifully as it should be sung. While some others argued that the quality and content of the anthems have been going down with every passing year. A majority, however, agrees that they got used to the anthems with time.

Asim Azhar dancing in the PSL 2020 anthem should have been a meme by now. Where you all at? Go, make a meme.

Even though the songs featured some legendary icons like Arif Lohar, Haroon Rashid, Zulfi, Ali Azmat, Asim Azhar, and cricketers representing each PSL team, people are just not happy with the outcome.

We, at ProPakistani however, are at the fourth replay of the anthem, and trust us, IT IS NOT THAT BAD! You just need to get used to it for it to spark the patriotism that it is supposed to.
In our unbiased opinion, we’d suggest the public gives this anthem a chance. Alright, maybe not “a” chance, but try listening to the Pakistan Super League 2020 anthem at least five times.
We would love to hear your opinion in the comments! Kya aap Tayyar hain (are u ready)?
Wherever there is Ali Azmat, it is understood that it will be all loud and out of proportion so no good crying.
