The recent outbreak of the coronavirus in China has created panic and concern worldwide. The threat of the virus is imminent in Pakistan as the country is close to China.
Former Pakistani actress Reema has taken to social media to advise fans and public to take precautionary measures.
Her advice comes at a time when the coronavirus has spread from China to the West, and even India and Philippines now. The deadly virus has already claimed the lives of hundreds since the outbreak last week.
In her statement, she requested government authorities to monitor the health and safety conditions of any and all passengers coming from China to Pakistan. Reema also stated that people should take precautionary measures to prevent themselves from falling prey to this deadly virus.

The Pakistani government is already on high alert due to the alarming spread of the virus across China and Western countries. So far, no case of the coronavirus has been reported in Pakistan. However, the government has placed safety protocols to prevent any breakout of the deadly virus.
The cause for concern regarding the outbreak of the virus is due to its unknown nature and absence of any verifiable vaccine to prevent the virus from spreading.
Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi are currently addressing the issue and are in communication with China. The government is currently trying to work out a safe evacuation of Pakistani students studying in various universities in Wuhan – the epicenter of the coronavirus.
