Rishi Kapoor Gets Trolled Hard After Asking Pakistan & Indian Armies to Join Forces Against Terrorism

Sounds good, minus the part where he’s inciting Pakistan Army to mutiny.

Rishi Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor is calling on India and Pakistan to join military forces against terrorism. Bollywood isn’t big on peace but Rishi Kapoor has a different approach. Sounds good minus the part where he’s asking the Pakistan Army to go behind their PM’s back.

Sitting in a hospital bed in New York, looks like Rishi Kapoor will need some more time to recover.

A Controversy Brews

This tweet was a follow up to his comments expressing displeasure (as though it matters) with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said that PM Imran Khan was not taking adequate steps to eradicate terrorism in Pakistan.

People did not take well to this comment on both sides of the border. Indians were infuriated at the idea of dropping arms and joining hands with Pakistan, the country that won’t drop the subject of Indian human rights abuses in Kashmir.

The attempt to incite Pakistan’s Armed Forces to mutiny was taken as a jibe at Imran Khan. Naturally, some Pakistanis decided to set the record straight:

There were a lot of opinions

People called out Rishi’s bluff.

Some trolls even called for an Indian invasion of Pakistan.

Good thing someone had a befitting reply to that.

Then there were those who decided to indulge in yet another blame game.

Both the Indian government and Indian media has always projected that Pakistan is soft on terrorism and not taking harsh enough action. Meanwhile, one attack is all it took for India to call for war.

After terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) claimed responsibility for the Pulwama attack that killed 44 Indian soldiers New Delhi has been accusing Islamabad of allowing the terrorists to operate on its soil.

The Indian government then almost incited war by violating Pakistani airspace. The Indian air force’s Balakot airstrike didn’t end well for them.

Utlimately, it was the Pakistani government that took a peaceful approach to the whole situation, and defused the rising tensions.
