robbers in karachi

There’s really no place like Karachi in Pakistan. Known for its vibrant social life, sea, and diverse cultures, the metropolis is a melting pot for people all over the country. But over the years, it has also become notorious for its rising spate of street crimes and killings, going from the city of lights to one of ‘the most dangerous cities in Pakistan’.

Thankfully the situation has gotten a lot better now. In fact, good enough that robbers return you your belongings and console you after almost robbing you off.

As you can see, the rider was followed by two robbers on bike when he was making food deliveries. They first took his valuables (including the food bag) and when he started crying, they gave it back to him.

Not only that, but they also consoled him, hugged him and shook hands with him. These robbers are surely challenging the stereotypes.

The video was recorded by a CCTV camera outside the residence and has made several rounds on the internet. ‘Humanity is not dead’ is all over Twitter.

It was indeed a very touching sight to see. Yes, they came to rob him but their conscience stopped them from taking away someone else’s livelihood.

People are praising the robbers for ‘having a heart of gold’ and ‘not being blinded by greed’. However, our main concern is that they are hugging and shaking hands with each other whilst corona is somewhere around them.

So what do you think? Surely this little incident has reminded us that its ok to laugh despite how bleak things are.
