Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are all set to team up once more for the sequel of Rowdy Rathore.
There have been lots of rumors going around regarding the sequel of the box office hit for a long time. Now, the co producer of the film, Shabinna Khan, has confirmed the news.

Rowdy Rathore 2 Gets Confirmed
While talking to an Indian media outlet, Mumbai Mirror, Shabinna Khan said that they are working on the script of the film.
“We are in the process of writing Rowdy Rathore 2 right now and it will feature Akshay in the lead.”
While the co-producer of the film confirmed Akshay Kumar in the lead role, it is still unclear whether Sonakshi Sinha will return as “Paro” or not. Sonakshi Sinha played the lead actress role in the first movie.

Plot
The original Rowdy Rathore’s release in 2012 wreaked havoc at the box office. The 2012 action-comedy is the official Hindi remake of Telegu movie Vikramarkudu.
Vikramarkudu featured Ravi Teja and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles.
Akshay Kumar played a double role in the first installment. He played both as a cop (Vikram Rathore) and a thief (Shiva). Shiva is brought in as Vikram Rathore by his team mates after the death of Vikram. Does Shiva do a good job of standing in for Rathore?
