Famous Sri Lankan cricket commentator Russel Arnold has become a fan of Karachi’s biryani.
The former cricketer is currently in Karachi with the ICC’s official commentators’ team for the second Test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
For the love of Biryani
Russel took to Twitter to share his love for biryani, declaring the port city as the ‘Biryani Capital’ of the world.
“Great to be back in Karachi. I am told it is the biryani capital of the world? True,” the 46-year-old tweeted.

The arrival of Sri Lankan cricket has marked the return of Test cricket in Pakistan. With the first Test match in Rawalpindi being washed out by rain, all eyes are now on the Karachi Test, which will decide the series.
The match will be played from December 19 (Thursday) to December 23 (Monday) at the National Stadium, Karachi.
