Javeria Saud, along with her husband Saud Qasmi, owns JJS production House which has produced famous shows like Yeh Zindagi Hai and Khuda Aur Mohabbat. Recently, veteran actress Salma Zafar accused the two of them of mistreatment and non-payment.
The Kaash Main Teri Beti Na Hoti actress started her journey in the entertainment industry in 1983 and has since been a dedicated star. Her work has been adored by thousands of people.
She recently hurled allegations of how JJS Production House has mistreated her and withheld her dues.
Salma, who has worked with JJS for almost half of her career, expressed her concerns in a live session. The Yeh Kaisi Muhabbat Hai actress thrashed the couple for not only mistreating her but also mistreating others at smaller positions.
The Accusations
Salma Zafar says that even people earning Rs. 5,000 to 7,000 have not been paid.
There are a lot of people like me who curse you [JJS]. People who earned Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 7,000 and traveled in public buses.
She adds that both Javeria and Saud have built themselves a luxurious house and are living a comfortable life. But failed to be decent human beings with morals.
The senior actress also claimed that she has been waiting for almost a decade for her payments, but to no avail. She could not remain silent on the matter any longer.
I don’t have lies or politics. I don’t have a luxurious bungalow in DHA because I’ve been compromising. I work with my head held high, not bowed down.
These people can’t tolerate a woman speaking to them with her head held high.
Salma’s Experience
In her experience, Salma says she has seen Saud curse and mistreat people who asked for their hard-earned money. She said,
If a woman went to Saud and asked for her due salary, he would push her out.
Further recalling the time when Umer Sharif pulled the chain off Saud’s neck, she said:
You don’t have any respect.
