Hrithik Roshan is a powerhouse of talent. With his Greek-god looks, outstanding dancing, and acting skills, he ranks among the A-Listers of Bollywood. And the success of his movies ‘Super 30’ and ‘War’, he has proved it once again why the actor is loved so much by his fans.
While Hrithik has no cricketing background, his skills might have attracted the former Indian captain Saurav Ganguly’s attention.
Ganguly, who has been recently elected as the Chairman of the Indian Cricket Board, was invited in a talk show. There, he was asked to name an actor who he would like to play his character in his biopic.
And Ganguly replied:
“Hrithik Roshan, I like him the most.”
Hrithik Roshan enjoys a resurgence in Bollywood
Just like every artist in the world, Hrithik went through a bad patch when even the best of his performances failed to convert into box office success. People even doubted his casting as Anand in the movie ‘Super 30’ as it needed a de-glammed look, which they thought didn’t suit his personality.
However, against all odds, Hrithik nailed the character and won accolades from all over the country.
While his character in War was diametrically opposite from his previous roles, he has still performed well. Apparently the Indian box office also agrees, as the film became the highest grosser of the year.
