Shaan Shahid Challenges Fans to Break the ‘Zarrar Code’

We gotta ask. Where’s that trailer?

Shaan-in-WAAR

One of the most awaited films of this year is Shaan Shahid’s Zarrar. Now the actor-cum-filmmaker is just adding to the drama with his challenge to break the ‘Zarrar code‘.

Shaan Shahid tweeted out an apparent code. And since its a code, no one knows what answers lie in wait for us. Maybe this code is going to help us figure out when the film’s finally hitting theaters.

The Zarrar Code

Right off the bat, fans got to guessing and breaking the code. There was the obvious use of the term.

Based on the Zarrar trailer, we’re assuming it has to do with the missing Kiran Malik in the trailer (its a wild guess though). Thing is it wasn’t an official trailer and we wonder when the final trailer is coming out.

Many fans are just cutting right to the point.

Originally Zarrar release date was scheduled for August, 14th. This year Pakistan’s Independence Day coincided with Eid-ul-Azha. With several big-budget Eid releases, the makers behind Zarrar may have thought it best to delay the film’s release.

Besides Pinky Memsaab actress Kiran Malik, Zarrar cast Shaan Shahid, Nadeem Baig, Nayyer Ejaz, Adnan Butt, and Cyrille Mansuy.

Ever since the success of Waar back in 2013, Shaan has made one action film after another. O21 was an action film and so is Zarrar.

Given Shaan Shahid’s fanbase, his films have always seen huge reception at the ticket window. This time around he had onboard cinematographer Timothy Hallam Wood. Timothy Hallam Wood is known for short films The Sun and Twisted Love, as well as British indie film Dead Ringer.

Timothy Hallam Wood was also the cinematographer behind Shaan’s directorial Arth 2: The Destination.
