Shahid Afridi doesn’t make the list of most charitable celebrities in the world for no reason. The man will go to all lengths to help people.
In a recent effort, the former cricketer was seen distributing rations and cash in remote areas in Balochistan. The philanthropist made the effort to go distribute ration bags himself, even if it was with an armed security guard.
Videos of his efforts in Balochistan were shared on Twitter and have been making rounds on the Internet ever since.

All such charity work is great and must be appreciated.. but making videos and being watched by the masses is part of a longer plan to create humble impression of him in mind of general public and pave the way for him to be PM.. just to put naswar and speak to the nation..

I may not be a great admirer of @SAfridiOfficial as a cricketer but his inning as social worker is worth praising and following.

As for people picking what he could have done better, some netizens rushed to Lala’s defense.
The negative people are of two kinds:
1- suffering from lockdown syndrome
2- people without jobs or already using a remote working modality. The above two kinds shall never be happy.

Yes, individuals cannot fulfil the needs of entire population but are contributing their part. Shahid Afridi has helped thousands in KP & now in Balochistan. He will also go to other provinces. His help is not cosmetic. Many have benefited. May Allah SWT give its reward to him

Of course, there were some naysayers, who were more concerned with pitching theories how the whole thing looks scripted. Scripted or not, the fact of the matter remains that Shahid Afridi made the trip to that remote area himself to help the destitute.
It can be scripted, i agree but if a scripted display can bring some change in our attitudes, that script should be tried again

Would love to see your such SCRIPTED video…
If all rich people & celebraties will make such SCRIPTED video, they can save deaths due to hunger & the number is ~20k per day.— Adnan (@Mazs09) May 7, 2020
