Shahid Kapoor, who is known for being cautious while speaking to the media or at any event, has finally spilled the beans regarding his absence at Kareena Kapoor’s wedding ceremony. He made the remarks while promoting his upcoming film Kabeer Singh.
On Neha Dhupia’s show, BFFs with Vogue, The Jab We Met actor got candid about his personal as well as professional life.
He talked openly about his ex-girlfriends, Kareena and Priyanka. During his conversation with Neha, Shahid opened up about being invited to Priyanka’s wedding reception in Mumbai.
Shahid Kapoor Tells Us The Reason
When Neha asked him about not attending Kareena’s wedding with Saif Ali Khan back in 2012, the 38-year-old actor stated,
“About Kareena, I don’t remember, it was a while ago. I don’t think I was invited.”
Before getting married to Mira Rajput, Shahid’s name was attached to almost all his co-actors. However, his relationship with Kareena Kapoor Khan (now married to Saif Ali Khan) lasted much longer as compared to his relationship with Priyanka Chopra (now married to Nick Jones).
On Koffee With Karan Season 6, Karan asked him if he wants to delete any memories of Kareena or Priyanka, he replied,
My relationship with Kareena was longer and with Priyanka, it was shorter. I think that I’ve learnt from my experiences that I’ve had. So, I would not want to delete any of those memories.
Nowadays Shahid is busy promoting his upcoming movie Kabir Singh, where he will be playing the role of an alcoholic surgeon. The movie also features Kiara Advani. Kabir Singh is slated for a June 21 release.
