Shaniera Akram Misses Wasim Akram While Being Stranded in Australia

Wasim Akram’s wife Shaniera Akram might be back home in Australia, but she’s still homesick and missing her hubby. Pakistan’s favorite bhabi penned a cute note for the former Pakistani cricket captain in a recent post.

Shaniera Akram headed East to see her family in Australia. During her trip, her husband Wasim Akram tested positive for Coronavirus. Since the fam had to maintain social distance with Wasim in isolation, Shaniera ended up stranded in Australia.

But distance only makes the heart grow fonder, as Shaniera Akram misses home and is desperately waiting to meet her husband again. She voiced her sentiments with a tweet of an emotional video. The video features an elderly couple who can be seen meeting after a long separation.

The video shows an elderly man suddenly meeting his wife and giving her the best gift of his life.

“This is just beautiful, … This could be us soon.”

Recently she also penned an emotional message for Wasim Akram. This is a change from their usual banter online.

“145 days we have been apart! The longest ever. Although my heart is breaking every day I have the strength and believe that this world will end its suffering soon as there are those who have lost way more than us, … Inshallah we have the love that knows no boundaries.”

The heartfelt letter provided insight into the couple’s feelings as they spent over 145 days apart. This is an insight into the more sentimental side of their relationship. The post came with a memorable photo of Wasim and Shaniera Akram.

Despite being home in Australia her heart’s still here in Pakistan.

“I will do my best to be a good mother, citizen and keep my charity and work to help Pakistan as much as I can from here. Missing you @wasimakramliveofficial more than you could imagine.”

Shaniera bhabi also advised people to look after their loved ones by following SOPs. She also suggested getting vaccinated when possible.

“I pray that everyone stays safe, wears a mask, and gets vaccinated as soon as possible so that life can continue as normal,”
