After Sania Mirza got a biopic looks like the sports power couple Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza are also getting one.
In an interview with Express Tribune, the Indian tennis star slipped details of the couple’s biopic. While talking about how biopics are trending in the cinematic world, the ace tennis star revealed that the couple has also been approached for one too.
“We are in touch with a few people. Due to Covid, all processes are a little slow but it is definitely in process.”
The athletic duo is really delving into the entertainment industry. Just recently they announced their own celebrity talk show called ‘The Mirza-Malik Show’. The show is set to premiere on the Pakistani OTT platform, Urduflix. Their talk show will host a string of pop-cultural icons from both India and Pakistan.
As for acting in a film, the sportswoman isn’t fond of the idea but asserts ‘never say never.’
“I can’t speak for Shoaib but I don’t think I can be an actor. I’m shy in front of the camera. I think it takes a lot of courage so I don’t think I’ll have any scope in the acting world. We always say never say never, though.”
On the other hand, Shoaib Malik is all set to make his acting debut.
Additionally, the husband-wife duo will also launch their own NFT collection. And they’re still open to all kinds of things in the future.
“Ab kuch toh karna parega. (We have to do something now). Our chat show will go into shooting soon. Even with the perfume launch, we had a lot of fun with the experiment. Shoaib and I like doing different things so yes, maybe.”
