Team Behind ‘Ishrat: Made In China’ Gets Stuck in Thailand

They will not be able to return home for a while.

It appears that someone forgot to give director Mohib Mirza a heads up on the whole lock-down and coronavirus pandemic as he and his crew are currently stuck in Thailand. The director, along with his production team and cast were busy shooting for the film Ishrat: Made In China when the COVID-19 started spreading worldwide.

Apart from Mohib, several crew members and cast are also in Thailand that includes Sara Loren, Sanam Saeed, Imaan Sayed, and Shamoon Abbasi.

One of the prominent stars of the film, Shamoon has been keeping fans updated about his well-being in Bangkok, Thailand amidst the lock-down and social distancing.

Recently, the actor made a video where he shared the news that the whole team behind Ishrat: Made In China will be stuck in Thailand a while longer now as all flights to Pakistan haven been temporarily shut.

Shamoon also mentioned that he was supposed to travel to Pakistan on 23rd March, but for now, he will have to wait 2 more weeks.

For now, the actor emphasized the need for following strict precautions. He stated that it is because of the negligence of a few people that many like him are stuck far away from home. He expressed his disappointment with all those who are still taking the threat of coronavirus lightly in Pakistan.

Shamoon Abbasi also shared what it is like for the cast and crew on a day to day basis. He said that everyone is maintaining their distance from each other and only leave their room to eat food and then go back to their room without greeting each other.
