Some things withstand the test of time, like the original Terminator movies. The final trailer of Terminator: Dark Fate gives us some more of the T-800 and Sarah Connor’s team in action.
The previous trailer had plenty of Sarah Connor played by Linda Hamilton, being badass for 20 seconds straight. We only got a glimpse of our friendly T-800 essayed by Arnold Schwartzenegger.
But now, this new trailer has got us pretty excited. Lets see what surprises we have this time around:
Despite the friendly encounter we saw in the teaser, Sarah Connor’s distrust of Terminators still stands its ground. We see Sarah pull a gun on the latest humanoid Terminator (Mackenzie Davis).

That’s when we see Sarah answer the hybrid-cyborg human’s previous question, why she wants to help Dani Ramos (Natalie Reyes). Ramos seems to be the new ‘person-to-save-at-all-costs’ this time around
Sarah explains how she stopped “judgment day” by blowing up Skynet’s headquarters. The hybrid bursts the bubble on that:
“You may have changed the future, but you didn’t change our fate.”
Where is Arnie’s T-800?
This is where we get a plot twist we did not see coming. The T-800 (Arnold) is a friend of Davis’ cyborg, not Sarah. So naturally when she introduces Sarah to the T-800, Sarah first instinct is to kill it.
She still isn’t as fond of the Terminator as her son was. Speaking of John Connor, whatever happened to him after they stopped “judgment day“?

Why all that distrust even after all these years? Immediately the old team (Sarah and T-800) get to training Dani Ramos. Based on what Davis’ cyborg has to say, if Ramos dies they all die (so she’s like the new John Connor?).
Sarah Connor is still intent on offing the T-800.
“When this is over, I will kill you.”
As for that dialogue we missed in, Sarah Connor took it.
“I’ll be back.”
Terminator: Dark Fate’s Hybrid-Cyborg Human?
In the last trailer, Davis’ character is made to realize how she’s so humanoid for a Terminator. To this she responds;
“That’s because I am human, just enhanced.”

On this, our thoughts are maybe she doesn’t even know she’s not human based on how much humanity she has. She bleeds machine fuel, which is not very human, more cyborg hybrid.
We’ll have to watch the movie to find out.
Terminator: Dark Fate release date is set November 1, 2019.
James Cameron Returns
When James Cameron left the Terminator franchise after 1991’s Judgement Day, we thought that would be the last we’d see of the original Sarah Connor.
With Cameron’s return for Terminator: Dark Fate he brought back the original Sarah. With Deadpool director Tim Miller onboard fans had high hopes for the latest installment.
Terminator: Dark Fate final trailer does promise to not disappoint.
