The Legend of Maula Jatt Premiers in Lahore and Doha Today

The director had also issued a special warning about it.

The most anticipated Pakistani movie of the decade and the year, Bilal Lashari’s The Legend of Maula Jatt, had a special premiere in Lahore yesterday prior to its official release today.

It was a star-studded event with all the cast members (except Hamza Ali Abbasi), and big names from the media fraternity, and entertainment media journalists were in attendance at CUE cinema.

The star cast brought glitz and charm to the red carpet in statement silhouettes, and everyone was a feast for the eyes. From Fawad Khan to Mahira Khan, the celebrities blew us away with their glamorous looks.

FAB Entertainment, a Qatar-based entertainment company, announced that the world premiere of The Legend of Maula Jatt would be held in Doha today, in partnership with Qatar Tourism.

FAB Entertainment’s CEO, Fauzia Vohra said, “We are delighted to have the Premiere of The Legend of Maula Jatt on its global release day here in Qatar, graced by all the main cast, director, and producer.

She added, “We look forward to welcoming the cast and crew to Doha, in partnership with Qatar Tourism, and do hope they will enjoy Qatar’s sights and sounds and warm hospitality. There is no time like show time and we look forward to seeing you at the movies!”

The venue for the Premiere is Novo Cinemas, Mall of Qatar on October 13, 2022.

The Legend of Maula Jatt is a remake of the 1979 cult classic, Maula Jatt. Produced by Ammara Hikmat, and with dialogues by veteran screenwriter Nasir Adeeb, it was created under the joint venture of Encyclomedia & Lashari films in association with AAA Motion Pictures.

Bilal Lashari’s Warning

Bilal Lashari had issued a warning about viewer discretion for his movie in 2020: “The Legend of Maula Jatt is not for the faint-hearted or children because of the graphic nature of few scenes”.

It is expected to be the most significant action movie in the history of Pakistan, with action-packed and gory fighting sequences.

A few days ago, Atrium Cinema hosted a special media screening of The Legend of Maula Jatt before the film’s formal release across the country. It was the attended by best entertainment editors and reporters from print and social media.

Hamza Ali Abbasi has received nothing but appreciation from legendary Pakistani actor Mustafa Qureshi, who had originally played the role of Noori Natt in the original movie.

Qureshi praised Hamza for his acting abilities during a pre-release screening that was hosted at Atrium Cinemas on Monday and said, “Hamza Ali Abbasi has given tribute to Noori Natt with his outstanding performance”.
