Humayun Saeed is an icon in the Pakistani entertainment industry. For over two decades, he has entertained us with several wholesome dramas and blockbuster movies.

He is one of the few actors who have managed to become successful both in cinema and the drama industry and has produced some great projects as well. Not everyone can do that, but Humayun Saeed is a pro at literally everything.

Since he recently celebrated his 49th birthday, let’s celebrate by reviewing some of his best recent performances that made us love him even more.

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani (2015)

JPNA was a turning point for Pakistani cinema as it gave it more freedom of expression. The movie became a hit and set new records for the Pakistani cinema.

Humayun Saeed not only acted but also co-produced this romantic-comedy under the banner of Six Sigma Plus. He even received the Best Actor award for his performance as Shehryar, aka Sherry.

Dil Lagi (2016)

Mehwish Hayat and Humayun Saeed’s chemistry left all of us in awe in this romantic drama. Directed by Nadeem Baig, Dil Lagi was a super hit drama and Pakistanis enjoyed Humayun’s performance as Mohid.

Punjab Nahi Jaungi (2017)

Another massive hit, Punjab Nahi Jaungi broke the record for Jawani Phir Nahi Ani as the highest-grossing Pakistani movie (until JPNA 2 was released in 2018).

Once again, we saw the crackling on-screen chemistry of Mehwish Hayat and Humayun Saeed and they didn’t disappoint us.



Meray Pass Tum Ho (2019)

Humayun Saeed made his return to television after a short hiatus with Meray Pass Tum Ho and it was massive. The drama enjoyed a great deal of success and TRPs. Despite all its shortcomings, Danish genuinely won our hearts.

Humayun’s portrayal of a heartbroken, abandoned man left the audience in tears and earned him great acclaim from viewers and industry peers alike.
