Ye Dil Mera” is being directed by the infamous Aehson Talish and produced by Farhat Ishtiaq. Despite there only being one episode on air so far, the romantic thriller seems very promising. The storyline highlights the dynamic between the two characters, Amaan (Ahad Raza Mir) and Aina (Sajal Aly), as they are troubled by the actions of their past. Amaan is also being projected to have dishonest intentions towards Aina.

Her father, played by Adnan Siddiqui is overprotective of his daughter and here begins a love story which can be anticipated to take a turn for the worse. The first episode definitely generated a lot of hype among audiences, and we can’t wait to see what the other episodes have in store.

And that is when tragedy strikes. Sameera goes though a series of physical, emotional and psychological tortures, and struggles to find her way to recovery.

The most refreshing part of the drama is the way the female lead has been written as a smart, rational woman. It was also interesting to see that the character of her brother, Hamza (Osama Tahir) was also written as a understanding and co-operative character. The serial has been engaging audiences so far and appears to have the potential to continue doing so.
