It looks like something out of ‘Game of Thrones’!

While a lot of us plan on taking exotic trips around the world, there are a lot of breathtaking and beautiful places in Pakistan that most of us are unaware of. From beautiful beaches in Karachi to extraordinary mountain ranges in the North, Pakistan has some of the scenic landscapes in the world. Usually, people love traveling to northern areas like Hunza, Gilgit, Swat and other mountainous areas in KPK, many of us often overlook the beauty of one our biggest provinces, Baluchistan. Due to political issues, many people miss out on the chance of visiting this beautiful region.

One of the most eye-catching attractions of this area (that most of us don’t even know about) is the Gomal Lake. Located in the south-east of Ghazni, Baluchistan, the Gomal Lake or Gomal Zam Lake can be found in the heart of Waziristan.

The lake is scenic and incredible that must be visited at least once in your lifetime. What makes the Gomal Zam Lake even more amazing is the fact that it is called the ‘Flying Dragon of Pakistan’!

Don’t believe us? Just check out this aerial view of the look:

The lake is shaped just like a dragon! This looks like something out of Game of Thrones. The only thing that is missing is the Khaleesi and one of her dragons flying around the area!

Want to see it in all its splendor? Here is video with beautiful pictures of the lake.

We recommend that people should check out this incredible lake. Once things go back to normal,  perhaps a trip with your friends to the Gomal Zam Lake is called for?

What do you think of the Gomal Lake?

  1. May Allah the Al-Mighty help mankind to find the cure of the global pandemic !

    Asallam-o-Allaycum,
The image observer has taken a perfectly timed shot.
But the facts are, the water in Gomal Zam lake appears as of a flying dragon shape.
If the water level increases the image shape will differ, similarly a decrease in water level will dipict a different image.
I being a photographic enthuiast really appreciate the perfect timed shot.
    Many thanks.

  2. More like someone stepped on a dragon and now you can’t tell its head from its b***.
