When it comes to making an entrance, Timothée Chalamet knows how to stand out. While most celebrities arrive at movie premieres in sleek cars with a security entourage, Chalamet decided to keep it eco-friendly.

The actor showed up at the London premiere of A Complete Unknown on an electric Lime bike. But his green choice came with a price—literally.

Timothée Chalamet revealed during an appearance on the French talk show Quotidien that he was fined $73.45 for not parking the bike properly.

The actor defended his actions, saying, “It’s ecological!” However, he admitted that his decision to ride the bike wasn’t just about saving the planet—it was also about beating London traffic to make it to the screening on time.

Chalamet’s unconventional antics during the press tour for A Complete Unknown have been a hit with fans. From his random appearance on ESPN’s College Game Day to his bike escapade, the actor’s quirky personality has added a unique flavor to the film’s promotion.

The buzz seems to be paying off. A Complete Unknown, a biopic about legendary singer Bob Dylan, has become one of Searchlight Pictures’ biggest successes in recent years, raking in over $51 million at the U.S. box office.

Even Bob Dylan himself chimed in on the film before its release. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the music icon praised Chalamet, saying, “Timmy’s a brilliant actor, so I’m sure he’s going to be completely believable as me. Or a younger me. Or some other me.”

Despite the film’s success and Dylan’s endorsement, Chalamet couldn’t escape the fine for his parking mishap. But with the movie making millions, the $73.45 penalty is hardly a dent in his wallet.
