Do Bol

Affan Waheed and Hira Mani Do Bol

Written by Sarwat Nazir. Produced by Six Sigma Plus/ Next Level Entertainment and directed by Syed Wjahat Rauf.

The drama featured Hira Mani and Affan Waeed, who explore the complexities of their marriage under circumstance and navigate through their newly formed relationship. The dynamic between Hira and Affan has audience members riveted, and was a popular favorite among them.

Cheekh

Written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah. Produced by Big Bang Entertainment and directed by Badar Mehmood.

Cheekh was a murder-mystery styled drama, in which Manat, played by Saba Qamar, investigates the mysterious death of her friend. The series also features stellar performances by Bilal Abbas, Aijaz Aslam and Emaad Irfani. The continuous shift in the story-line, with unexpected surprises at every corner made the series a definite watch.

Balaa

Written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah. Produced by Big Bang Entertainment and directed by Badar Mehmood.

Balaa explored the complexity of the nature of its female lead, played by Ushna Shah. She plays the role of a young woman who uses manipulation and exploitation to get her way. The drama also reversed the traditional story-lines we see nowadays, opting to show how men can also be victims of emotional abuse and gaslighting.

Kaisa Hai Naseeban

Written by Sameena Ijaz. Produced by iDream Entertainment and directed by Ahmed Bhatti.

A story revolving the misfortune which falls a young girl, played by Rasha Shah, as she in married off into her family, Kaisa Hai Naseeban shows how even family can be the cause of unjust cruelty and psychological torture. The show challenges the popular notion that marrying between family members can save anyone from mistreatment and issues. With strong performances by Muneeb Butt and  Uzma Gillani, the show has definitely left an impact on its viewers.

Meray Paas Tum Ho

Written by Khalil ur Rahman. Produced by Six Sigma Plus and directed by Nadeem Baig.

Last but not least, we have the hit television sensation Meray Pass Tum Ho, which has taken everyone by storm. The series addresses how greed, power and material gain can destroy what may seem as the strongest of relationships. Featuring a dynamic cast including Humayun Saeed, Ayeza Khan, Adnan Siddiqui and Hira Mani, the drama has been and continues to be a much anticipated watch for everyone.
