Actress Syeda Tuba Anwar has become a victim of a private data leak as people allegedly shared her contact information without her consent.

The second ex-wife of late televangelist, Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain, expressed her concerns on Instagram, revealing how people are sending obscene messages on her WhatsApp.

The actress uploaded a series of Instagram stories on Tuesday, expressing her disgust over the vulgar messages she has been receiving of late. She said,

Just woke up to hundreds of lewd WhatsApp messages. For the umpteenth time, someone leaked my number. Disgusting how people have the time and energy to do this. I feel sick!

Tuba Anwar went on to explain how the situation to her fans, stating, “I can’t even share the contents of the messages here as they are so vile. This is a breach of privacy and I have been tolerating it for months now. I am frightened that because of this any of these numerous numbers can track me down and cause harm. This is an extremely disturbing and painful situation to be in”.

The Bharaas actress concluded her message with a request for people to stop sharing private information.

She added, “Anyone out there who does this for revenge or even fun, just know that is this extremely sickening”.

Tuba Anwar isn’t the only celebrity to have her personal data leaked online this week. Bollywood actor, Salman Khan, and even Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai’s private information was put up for sale on the dark web due to a recent Twitter hack.
