Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have a great social media presence. That might be why people go easy with the cancel culture when it comes to these brothers in blue. But what about the Punjab Police? Now that’s a whole different story.
From the dystopian themed uniform (utilitarian hues are on trend right now) to the frequent viral moments that show the ugly side of Punjab polus, we all are aware how they usually come across. However, it looks like the Punjab Police is intent on changing its dismal public image now, starting with social media.

Have you seen Punjab Police’s Twitter account lately? It’s like they’re trolling crime (a healthy alternative to them ‘patrolling’ people?). If they keep this up, they might be competing with the likes of some of our favorite accounts on Desi Twitter.
Case in point – Punjab Police getting in on the meme game:

The thing is with the attention span we have nowadays, memes are the only way to really get a message across. For once we’re listening to the khaki-clad civilian security.
Here are more examples of them upping their social media game:

Punjab Police Twitter account is quite ‘animated’ to say the least. They even have some heartfelt moments. Good to see them getting in touch with their feelings for once.

WE hope that this change is not just for the online crowd. Does this mean they’d be open to concepts like counseling, behavioral therapy, etc? This tweet sure looks like they are open to the idea of it:
