Sometimes being ignorant of something can make you a laughing stock. This is exactly what happened with Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Secretary General of Pakistan’s Awami Tehreek Party recently. All because he shared a clip from a video game (GTA V) and confused it for a real thing.

The  Pakistani politician recently took to Twitter to share a video of an aeroplane escaping a collision with an oil tanker on the runway.

Although, the video happens to be from the popular video game GTA V, The lawmaker thought it to be real and was truly impressed with the pilot’s daredevil skills.

Another tweeter blamed the yawning ‘generation gap’ for the politician’s mistakes.

Someone also suggested that perhaps its not too late to get into Grand Theft Auto (the video game, not real life kind!).
