Viral Scene Of LC Arzoo in Sinf-e-Aahan Stirs Mixed Reactions

Sinf-e-Aahan - Arzoo

While at first, it seemed Sinf-e-Aahan might have too many characters to focus on character development, it has not disappointed thus far. In the most recent episode, we see Syra Yousuf’s ‘Arzoo’ realize her worth.

While typical storylines push for reconciliation between couples, Sinf-e-Aahan pushed for a progressive outcome as our young military woman finally takes charge of her life too.

The now viral scene featured Syra Yousuf as Arzoo, Asad Siddiqui as Arzoo’s ex-fiancé, and Sheheryar Munawar as Major Usama.

We see Nouraiz harassing his ex-fiancée Lieutenant Captain (LC) Arzoo again, but this time, Major Usama, who is an instructor at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) intervened.

Many showered praised on LC Arzoo for finally breaking free.

There was also love for Major Usama and PMA.

Then there were those that felt bad for Nouraiz.

While it does seem like our LC is a damsel being rescued by another man, some are just happy the plotline isn’t as regressive as the usual Pakistani drama serial.

Perhaps Arzoo should have approached the cyber-crime wing with the issue instead of being blackmailed by the toxic ex. As an educated woman, she ought to know better.

Some even stated that the scene portrays harassment as trivial. Adding how it’s stupid that in this day and age, where there are legal procedures, and professional measures to deal with this crime an LC at PMA is being harassed and someone else is rescuing her.

Many felt the scene was unreasonable and out of the context.

“If you are suffering from Parental issues, BF issues, Ego issues, Marriage issues and want to fix them. Join PMA.”

Sinf-e-Aahan follows the story of several girls who join the Army via the short course. Aside from the usual patriotism, romanticism, and passion we see in military dramas, this drama serial worked a lot of character development. With a femme-centric storyline, we see so many progressive representations on screen.

  1. Just a correction LC stands for lady cadet just like GC stands for gentleman cadet and not for leuitenant captain
