Police in Pakistan may get a bad rap, but at times when they do their job, they do it right. Recently Karachi police foiled a robbery that will have you showering praise. Karachi policemen saved a delivery boy from getting robbed.
According to Geo English, Police arrest two robbers who were trying to mug a delivery boy in Karachi’s Defence Phase-I. CCTV footage of the foiled robbery attempt showcases how law enforcement personnel intervened on time.

Two robbers riding a motorcycle stopped by a delivery boy. As they are seen communicating with the rider, two policemen also on motorcycles arrive on the scene. The policemen on motorcycles caught the looters red-handed and rescued the delivery boy getting robbed.
Policemen can be seen rescuing the rider from the robbers. They tackled down the robbers as they attempted to flee. Charges of arms and armed robbery were filed against the robbers.
Delivery Boy Getting Robbed
Previously, in a similar instance took place when a delivery boy got robbed in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area. The rider employed by a private company identified as Shahid Hussain managed to resist and subdue the muggers.
Despite the robbers being armed, the rider managed to disarm them. However, the delivery boy let the culprits go in a moment of mercy. He said he let them go because of their young age. He told police;
“I resisted and caught both of them. Both boys were young, aged between 18 and 20 years; therefore, I did not hand them over to the police and gave them a chance to escape to save their future, … However, I confiscated their weapons and handed them over to the police.”
