Pakistani legend Shoaib Akhtar is a renowned figure in sports. He is also a rather outspoken and charismatic personality off the pitch. The ‘Rawalpindi Express’ is known for his volatile nature as he says whatever is on his mind. The fiery pacer has a knack for landing himself in controversy, which is ironic, since his autobiography is called “Controversially Yours”.

However, with time, Shoaib has ditched his ‘bad boy’ lifestyle and has become a loving family man. The former fast bowler is happily married and is a father to a beautiful baby boy. Since his marriage, Shoaib has adapted a new life motto, which is ‘live and let live.’

In a recent interview with popular actress and journalist Mira Sethi, the ‘Pindi Express’ shared his thoughts about how society treats women. Akhtar believes that people should be able to live their life just as how they would want to. He also added that people should leave women alone and not pester them with every little thing.

“If you can’t help women, give them space,” Akhtar told men. Whatever women wear is their choice, Akhtar went on. “Who are you to say anything?” he asked.
