Will Netflix Pick Up Daredevil for Season 4?

Will the Devil from Hell’s Kitchen make a comeback?

While many shows/seasons died this year not just on regular TV networks but on Netflix as well, we’ve been wondering if we’ll get to see Daredevil again. Those fears got real after sister Netflix-Marvel series such as The Iron Fist and Luke Cage were canceled this year.

For fans of Marvel’s Daredevil it seemed that a similar fare may be in the offing. Despite the doom and gloom surrounding the fate of the series, it seems that hasn’t stopped its showrunner Erik Oleson from sounding upbeat.

Erik recently tweeted that he has pitched season four of Daredevil to Netflix and he was now waiting for the company to swing.

While many other awaited seasons on Netflix have been canceled like Iron Fist and Luke Cage, we feared the worst, especially when Daredevil’s viewership numbers dropped by more than half of its previous one this year.

Despite the dip in numbers, fans are hopeful of the chance to see a masked Matt Murdoch played by Charlie Cox in season four. We too would rather retire as Devil fans than switch loyalties to a new series.

Daredevil fans are already gearing up to show their support for the next season.

While the actors who play Karen Page and Wilson Fisk seemed hopeful of another season and even advocated for it, interestingly series lead Charlie Cox has stayed mum regarding it. Perhaps it seems like the defender of Hell’s Kitchen couldn’t defend his own season?

Possible Storyline for Future Seasons

If you haven’t watched Daredevil Season 3 yet, then be warned that there will be spoilers from here on.

We know where the next season will pick up (and hopefully it will). Last season ended with the birth of main Daredevil antagonist Bullseye. The trio of Page, Murdock and Nelson may start their own law firm.

Now that we know Sister Maggie is Murdoch’s mother, will that change the status quo, or somehow give her a bigger role in the new season?

Another question in the community is that now that Luke Cage doesn’t have his own season does that mean we have a chance of seeing him in a cameo for Daredevil or if he’ll rest for now.

While seasons such as Lucifer also faced cancellation, it made it to another network. It remains to be seen that if this will happen for the staple Netflix series. Or perhaps it could move to Disney’s new streaming service thats coming out next year?

Let’s wait and see.
