Actress Yasra Rizvi recently invited the ire of trolls after she posted her newest poetry about ‘chai’ (tea) on Twitter.
The actress and writer posted a message as she usually does in her poetic tone. This time though the ‘chai was not fantastic’.
Keh do mujhse ke chai de do
lekin waapis meri raai de do#poet #writer #director #actor #yasrarizvi #auratmarch #feminism pic.twitter.com/274pHz30qa— Yasra Rizvi (@YasraRizvi) March 18, 2019
Chai can create global connections but apparently not Twitter connections. Some people really got touchy.

Chai and poetry are love, and all is fair in love? Or is it? This may be more about people hating the feminist connotation rather than the bad poetry.

However, its not all bad. Some tweeple came to Yasra’s defence too.
Why Yasra Rizvi gets so much hate? Probably worse poetry is self-published by bureaucrats.
