More YouTubers are stepping into the drama industry with Danish Ali joining the small-screen bandawagon.
Pakistani YouTubers such as Zaid Ali, Shaam Idress, and Shahveer Jaffry have a huge fan following due to their content on Facebook and YouTube. As their popularity grew, the Pakistani entertainment industry would rope them in for endorsements.
Shahveer Jaffry even starred in a music video. However, it was Ayaz Sammo from Awsamo Speaks that was the first social media breakout star in the biz. He starred in the Andhera Ujala sequel ‘Janbaaz‘.
Just recently Arsalan Naseer, the man behind Comics by Arsalan (CBA), debuted as Hadi in Hum TV’s Ramadan hit Chupke Chupke.
Looks like the trend is catching on as Danish Ali is set to star in Ramadan drama. The social media influencer has been making comedy sketches on social media for years now:
Now Danish Ali will feature in Danish Nawaz’s next project, Hum Tum. Drama serial Hum Tum cast Ramsha Khan and Ahad Raza Mir in the lead roles. Another Danish Nawaz directorial is set to air in Ramadan.
