Earlier on Sunday, Dangal famed actress Zaira Wasim decided that she will not be part of Bollywood anymore. She took to her social media accounts to announce her decision of quitting the film industry. She felt it interfered with her religion.

Zaira’s decision received mixed reactions from across the film industry. Some big names criticized the decision while others endorsed it.

The decision caught everyone’s attention not just in India but in Pakistan and other countries as well.

Yumna Zaidi Lends Her Support

Pakistani actress Yumna Zaidi also reacted to the news and appreciated Zaira Wasim’s bold decision.

While replying to Zaira’s original post on Instagram, the “Dil Kiya Karay” actress said:

“MashAllah what a beautiful decision you have made, may you get all the peace and happiness and contentment in your life. Amen. Strong soul”

Apart from Yumna Zaidi, other celebrities who lauded Zaira’s decision include Raza Murad, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tanushree Dutta, Daisy Shah, and Karanvir Bohra.

Zaira Wasim’s Last Movie

Zaira Wasim will be seen playing the role of Aisha Chaudhary in her final movie. She will portray a motivational speaker who has been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis in The Sky Is Pink.

The movie is set to hit cinema screens on October 11. The main cast of the film also includes Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar.
