The horrific murder has sparked public outrage, kickstarting a campaign against businessman Zahir Jaffar as Netizens demand #JusticeForNoor. People don’t want another violent crime swept under the rug by an affluent family.

Zahir is from the family behind Ahmed Jaffer and Company Ltd. Not to be confused with the Jaffer brothers or other similar groups. A United States citizen and mental health practitioner, his behavior is already being diluted with his ‘troubled past’.

While speaking to media SSP Investigation, Ataur Rehman said;

“Zahir was sound and in his senses when we caught him. He may have had a past history [of taking drugs] but at least at this time he was completely in his senses.”

He emphasized that police were focusing on the suspect’s ‘mental frame of mind’ and those initial findings indicated the suspect was completely aware of his actions when he allegedly committed the murder.

Zahir also had a flight to the US booked for the next day, Wednesday.
