Warid Excels in Network Quality
Warid is a Dual Vendor network, the Dense-Urban /Urban areas are being covered by Ericsson whereas the Suburban/Rural areas are covered by Huawei. This intelligent distribution has ensured that Warid is a very cost efficient yet quality driven Network.
Started from 28 cities today Warid offers its services in 496 cities that covers more than 12500Km road length area throughout Pakistan.
Company is Pakistan’s 3rd largest operator, and its subscriber base has reached over 18.71 million customers with the market share of 19.35% as of November 2009.
In a company statement issued today, Warid unveiled that it has two Contact Centers in Lahore and Karachi servicing almost 182,383 customers on average in 24 hours.
Statement further said that Warid has 23 fully operational business centers out of which 3 are Mobile Business Centers (an innovation in the Cellular Industry). On average there are 7000 walk in customers visit Warid business centers every day.
Warid has 84,858 retail outlets and 320 franchises across Pakistan.
Quoting Annual telecom consumer complaints report issued by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, warid said that it received minimum complaints that reflect the quality of services Warid Telecom offers to its valuable customers.
Statement said that it serves international roaming with over 231 live GSM roaming partners in 141 countries and 128 live GPRS roaming partners in 94 countries and prepaid roaming service in 22 countries, covering about 70% of the world including Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia.

Well, I have Warid, Jazz and Zong.
And on special occasions like Eid, New year, I have only seen Warid delivering SMS timely and connecting without “Network Busy”.
So yea, Warid Excels in Network.
Yea Atta it is true that WARID has dual vendors.
Huawei is more cost efficient than Ericsson . Their sites are like model sites. Warid is there where no any other OMO is. Specially USF sites are very remote region, providing communication facility where is no any basic needs available.
I am very sorry to add here that in some areas,even in lahore, there is problem with warid signals and service quality. :(
Warid subscribers suffering signal issue extremely in Central Park Housing Scheme and nearby areas at Main Ferozepur Road Kahna Nau, Lahore. Since two years complained many times but
Customer services says issue highlighted and no time frame to resolve it..!

Ericssons rules I do not like GSM of nokia, siemens or nokiasiemens
Ericsson is expensive and advance GSM networks provider
that is why Telenor fears from vodafone where both networks have operations, vodafone most of the networks uses Ericsson.
Warid does not have experience how to control their network, even Warid takes help from the engineers of ericsson. Vodafone have their own experiance of excellence.
