  • can someone help me i am in Ufone 3G lahore coverage area but still unable to use ufone 3G when ever i use packet data its connect to Edge . i am using Samsung S2 HD LTE . i spoke to operator and and they said your mobile is not 3G supported but actually it is here is screen shot

    • another operator guy told me that trial service is only for selected customers , is it ?

    • i also face the same problem in windows phone,i searched many forums, ufone 3G signal strength is not too strong that’s why your cell automatically connect to 2G network..it is by default in all mobiles when your 3G signal is not strong your cell automatically on 2G NETWORK

  • I am using telenor 3g for last three weeks, downloading speed varies between 50 KBps to 500 KBps (512 kbps – 5 mbps) location is Khalid Bin Waleed road, PECHS Karachi

    • Abbas, Download “Mobilink 3G Pakistan” app to get information about latest 3G packages

    • Rizwan , Download “Mobilink 3G Pakistan” app to get information about latest 3G packages

  • Cantt, Lahore. With VPN on Telenor Pakistan. Btw what sleeping beauty zong is up too?

  • As 3G services have started in Pakistan, the feedback on them has not been a positive one. Broadband services in Pakistan have been already established for many years now whereas 3G/4G services will require many more years even to reach the same level. This shows the superiority of broadband services in Pakistan as they are much more reliable.

    • Shuja , Download “Mobilink 3G Pakistan” app to get information about latest 3G packages

  • I don’t understand why mobile operators are giving low speed for 3G/4G services in Pakistan. I’m using Vodafone UK 4G and the maximum download speed I have ever experienced is 70MBPS. And upload is around 20MBPS.

    • thats 4G not 3G but yes in pakistan mobile operators will rip off people by offering speeds around 1Mbps to 2.5Mbps on 3G here. Which is no doubt very disappointing to note. If you look at all the comments and speed test they posted they getting happy to get 1 Mpbs or 2 Mbps speed which is too low for it to be called that you are on 3G

  • a suggestion for aamir this is getting flooded by Snapshots and we cant get clear picture rather than this you should start a Poll in which Network option is available with avg speed so we can see overall speed result on different networks

  • Mobilink – Peshawar Road, Rawalpindi, Huawei G610, Results few days back

  • I’m getting 1.16 Mbps download and upload 45 sometimes lower sometimes higher. Gulshan-e-iqbal block 9 Karachi.

  • Telenor PK 3G service in d.h.a phase 2 (near punjab and dehli colony) karachi not good at all 213 Kbps downloads no signals on ground floor and even on the first floor it keeps switching back and forth to edge and weak signals on 3G. I even went as far as making a hotspot with Telenor to browse on my laptop and it wasn’t upto par at all. I have spoken to their csr about it and they say it will be ok when it’s launched?!? As far as I am concerned they are not serious about it.
Mobilink, no 3G at all only edge. If Telenor and Mobilink people are not going to address these issues now, only Allah knows what will happen when the service is launched and I am not game for it.
Anyone else having such issues from our area please let me know and also talk to the people at Telenor and Mobilink so they survey and get things working so lets talk to them and make them aware of this now before its too late.
    thanks one and all.

  • My LOL network can provide LTE service in my area. :P
    #Sarcasm

    Don’t be fooled.

    • If I see that screen shots together it looks like that long screenshot is taken by iPhone 10 :D

  • YouTube is working in Lahore PTCL user. is it working for you guys ??

  • How can we share the speed, we are the inhabitants of unfortunate KPK. Even peshawar do not have any signs of 3g. Pls pray for us.

  • Unless you want to use your mobile for torrent downloads, 500 kbps should be enough for even HD video streaming. You don’t need more than 500 kbps for an extremely good experience. At this stage, (when networks are empty) comparing speeds of different networks is a pointless exercise anyway in my view.

  • Nice Pissing Contest! People a sane word of advice! Don’t choose your data provider based on Trial services. At this time the operators are peddling their best offerings. Wait when these services come fully on-line with a Tariff. Only then would it give you a real world picture. As someone has mentioned below! 512 Kbps is more than good enough download speed for most of the users for most of the applications. More that that is just overkill or for bragging rights! Still enjoy the so called free trial, time to pay for what you get is coming very near! And then it may not sound as sweet!

  • Ufone ‘3G’ speed in cavalary ground lahore using my htc one dual sim

Then we can easily chose which is best for us!
