In its bid to promote financial inclusion in the country, one of Pakistan’s leading Mobile Financial Services providers, JazzCash, has launched a loan facility named ReadyCash. The initiative is designed to help customers access short term, low value loans instantly through their simplified mobile account menu that is processed in under a few seconds with no physical documentation or wait times.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Digital & Financial Services Offer at Jazz, Aniqa Afzal Sandhu said,
“With this latest addition to our product portfolio, millions of JazzCash Mobile Account customers will now have access to an instant loan in under a few seconds providing them with a formal alternative to access urgent loans, which were conventionally always addressed through informal means.”
The service will be available to customers who frequently use the provider’s products and services – customers with more frequent usage will have higher probability to qualify for the loan. ReadyCash is currently in pilot stage and is enabled for a limited number of customers.

During pilot, ReadyCash is offering loans of up to PKR 1,000 for four weeks that will be processed in seconds. Customers will also have flexible repayment options to settle their loans early. After conclusion of the pilot, the service will be extended to more customers with higher limits.
