PTCL Exchange Got Damaged by a Blast

A Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) exchange was damaged when it was hit by a bomb in Wana, South Waziristan, reported “The News”.

Reporter citing official and tribal sources from Wana reported that the blast didn’t cause any human loss. However, sources were not clear whether the perpetrators of the blast wanted to target the telephone exchange, military convoy or bunkers of the law-enforcement agencies located near the PTCL exchange.

Reportedly, the blast actually missed a military convoy by just five minutes and hit the exchange. It is suspected that terrorists might have planted the explosive device to target the convoy.
