Conference Call Facility for Prepaid Customers: Ufone

Ufone introduced Conference Call facility for its Prepaid customers, while offer was already in place for postpaid ones.

Conference call is a facility that is used by all segments of customers,  it may be a home user, college student or a business subscriber. Now this service is available for the prepaid segment as well.

How to subscribe?

Subscribers (both Prepaid & Postpaid) will send an SMS ‘SUB’ to short code 6789 for the activation request of Conference Call service from their Ufone number.

Following system generated SMS will be received to the customers.

Thank you! Your request for the activation of Multi Party Conference Call facility has been received. You will get a confirmation SMS within the next 24 Hrs.

Confirmation SMS Upon successful activation of Multiparty Conference Call Service:

Dear Customer, Multi Party Conference Call facility has been activated for you. Enjoy talking  up to 5 numbers of any network at the same time!

Pricing:

One-time multiparty Conference Call Activation charges of Rs. 3.00/- + Tax is applicable for both Prepaid and Postpaid Subscribers.

How to Make a Conference Call?

Make your first call, and put it on hold, then make second call and go into options button and select “join call” or “start conference”, similarly you can further put both calls on hold and dial 3rd number and select join call.

Note: Not all handsets may allow you doing conference calls.

Terms and Conditions:

• This service is available to all Ufone Subscribers on all Voice packages excluding Postpay Unite and Prepaid Life Value Packages.
• The service is accessible on all supportive Handsets.
• Activation charges are exclusive of taxes.
• After activation of Multiparty Conference Call service, subscribers can make a maximum of 6 concurrent Conference calls (1 initiator + 5 other numbers) to any network. Only in few South regions this limit is of maximum 3 concurrent Conference calls (1 initiator + 2 other numbers) to any network.
• Standard voice Call charges (International, Off-net or On-net) will be applicable on every call as per subscribed Ufone voice package.
• The customer can contact 333 during the 24 Hrs standard activation time period and can request for an early activation.
• To forecast the usage behavior all Lahore based Prepaid and Postpaid Subscribers have already got the Multipart Conference Call service activated on FOC basis and will be informed through a bulk broadcast.
• All new Prepaid SIM sales have Conference Call Facility activated as default service.
