Telenor Pakistan Gets its Own VSAT Network

Telenor_VSATTelenor Pakistan has established its own VSAT network to continue to provide uninterrupted and high quality services to its customers,

One of the country’s largest, this satellite-based network will provide connectivity for GSM traffic in areas where microwave or optical fiber is unavailable.

It has been designed to remain least affected by natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods, thus allowing for uninterrupted communication services to customers.

  • Telenor really doing good work in Pakistan. Others companies, please u need to learn from Telenore….

  • This is one of the largest privately owned and used network in Pakistan with a cost of over $8Mil. Excellent step and good work, Keep it up.

  • Money is honey yes….but China Mobile and Orascom have no shortage of money too.I think Telenor has a neck of thinking out of the box!!!

  • telenor is the best network in pakistan data EDGE services and sms packages are excelint but data packages are not as good as sms and call packages they should realize this is the time to introduce cheap data packages before 3G launch tata docomo is about to launch their 3G service in a month why we are so slow ? Mr amir would you like coment on this

  • Hello dear brother 3G ko to rehny hi do matlab sochna chor do and secondly what is vsat technology kiya is say mujhay bhi faida ho skta hai.

  • VSAT means Very small aperture terminal I also belive the same that Telenor is smart company always make smart moves. But the choice of vendor they make for this kind of network is a Question mark ???

    • @ S.R Ahmed….yes brother I agree with you…but you know in Pakistan projects are granted on something else rather then merit (you know what i mean). I was part of this project from another service provider and we give pretty tough time to Telenor as we offered them technically better solution in less price..but I must say Jeevay Jeevay Pakistan…
