According to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s latest stats for cellular subscribers, there were 107,886,440 mobile phone subscribers in Pakistan at the end of April 2011.
This translated into 64.8 percent teledensity for cellular users in the country.
Zong topped the charts in previous two months by adding more than 1.2 million subscribers in March and April 2011. With this Zong crossed a milestone of 10 million cellular subscribers in the country.
In terms of total number of subscribers, Mobilink had maintained a significant lead with almost 33 million subscribers, at by end of April 2011.

Uhh, Zong makes it pace among other operators! Waridtel is also going well. As far as it is concerned to Ufone, if they eliminate Daily charges for some packages, it’d really support Ufone to get back into Market just like “Rajnikanth” =D

there service is really bad. and that is the reason i left it. Whenever there service will get better from telenor then i’l definitely port my number to ufone but thats not possible lol.
It is because they are not focusing on service they are just focusing on there packages.
Zong is doing very handsome.its service is going best.package and attitude is already reliable.and we r hearing that zong has prepare itself to launch 3g in pakistan.i discuss with admin of zong.it seems zong will hold telecom sector.mobilink and warid are also going well.ufone is losing its customers due to complaints of balance drop,hidden taxes and irritating packages(although ufone is offering some gud packages like uth and ladies 1st if they remove daily deduction).

Telenor is going very well and very near to beat Mobilink. Telenor is covering all parts of the country including rural areas. Telenor is the real Gaint of Pakistan cellular industry. Telenor(Grameen Phone) is the Largest cellular company in Bandladesh and after one year Telenor also become Pakistan’s Largest cellular company. Telenor(Uninor) is on Eighth position out of Fifteen in India starts operations at the end of 2009 and going very very fast. 22.79 Millon customers in India. We Love You Telenor.
