Islamabad High Court has issued the reinstatement orders of Mr. Nasrul Karim Ghaznavi as Member Finance of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, terming his suspension illegal and overuse of rights by Cabinet Division, sources tell ProPakistani.
Nasrul Karim Ghaznavi, member finance of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority was suspended for the second time just a week ago amid a recent case against him that had hit the cabinet division, alleging him for granting Rs. 28 million waiver to a telecom company, which eventually got him the suspension.
While issuing reinstatement orders, the court said that suspension was illegal and cabinet division went beyond its working limits to suspend the member finance.
If sources are to be believed then Chairman PTA, Mohammad Farooq Awan isn’t happy with the restoration of member finance. It is said that Mr. Awan had started lobbying to bring his own man after the suspension of member finance, which are now shattered due to the court order.
It merits mentioning here that all three top officials of PTA, the Chairman, Member Finance and Member Technical are in state of cold war, mainly for the power hunt.
