Starting May 24th, 2014 all 3G services from Ufone will be be charged as per usual tariffs, or 3G Bundles which are shared at the bottom of this page.

Ufone users in Faisalabad and Peshawar will continue to use free 3G service till the announcements for their respective cities.

It merits mentioning here that Ufone was offering free trial services in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Peshawar.

Introduction of this technology by Ufone is a prime example of both leading-edge innovation and quality of service, under which Ufone customers will be able to benefit from the seamless and uninterrupted connectivity being offered.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Taimur Cheema, GM Marketing Ufone, said,

“Today is a landmark day, not only for Ufone but also for the cellular industry in Pakistan.

Ufone will strive to provide excellent coverage to meet customer expectations and will be operating in compliance with the Information Memorandum.

The real benefits of 3G for users are only realized when good quality service is available across the coverage area. Ufone’s 3G service assures highest level of speeds at affordable prices.”

With the introduction of 3G technology, Ufone customers will be able to stream videos on the go, download data at extraordinary speed and watch TV without worrying about electricity fluctuation or power outage. Ufone subscribers will be able to enjoy all 3G services on 3G enabled handsets.

The 3G technology harnesses enormous benefits, which the country will experience in the coming years, and these will include an increase in GDP, increase in public funding and improved productivity.

On a related note, Telenor, Zong and Mobilink are planning to launch 3G services by first week of June.

Ufone 3G Packages:

Ufone 3G Packages are going to get surfaces in couple of hours from now.

Currently we know that base price or usual tariff for Ufone 3G services, which are as following:

  • Rs. 20 for 1st MB

  • 21st MB till 40th MB will be free of charge again
  • 40th MB will be charged at Rs. 20 per MB

Then after 19.99 MBs of activity in a single day, 20th MB will be charged at Rs. 20 per day. After this another 19.99 MBs can be used free of charge. • Bitch Please!!
Know the difference between OGRA & PTA and 3G/4G & Manghai Cars. Revenue earned will be used to meet 2014-15 budget deficit and its announced officially…

  • aamir bhai ufone 17 prepaid package launch kar raha hai wo bhi expensive….
our 6 post paid packages hain……….

  • Ufone has started 3G services in Gujranwala today and I have been using it for the last 6 – 8 hours, one of my friends told me that it was started today and when I switched on 3G network mode whoa … the internet speed boosted like Broadband lol

  • Highly commendable move by Ufone. Must be appreciated. Zong people should die with shame, they couldn’t even offer the 3G trial, so much for their ‘only 4G operators’. Utter shame!

      • Have heard from some teco sector friends, Zong is easily the worst employer too. Chinese have a very very long way to learn the business ethics. I hope Shahbaz Sharif isn’t screwed up with his chinese metro train stunt in Lahore just like what happened with Kh. Saad Rafique on that first day engine failure.

        • yea that is why everything made in china

just bcoz you didnt get lollipop for free it doesnt mean they are worst in business and the last thing is that the china mobile has the most subscribers worldwide then other mobile network operators they has 775M subscribers yet they dont know buss

          • Nobody gives a damn to their free lollipop, its about delivering your customers with quality service. If you fail, you gotta listen the talk, don’t know why has it hurt you so much. And oh yeah, China Mobile has ‘most subscribers worldwide’ because you don’t get to compete there. Being the only operator allowed to serve a nation of over 1.2 billion, I wonder how that comes as a surprise.

            • hahaha i didnt even feel hurt lol im just telling you the fact and china has 3 Operator not only 1 lol you wont get free lollipop

          • Not surprised, Naan league’s supporter wouldn’t argue with logic but with crap. Go on.

  • I have just one wish.

I wish they make the EDGE bundles Unlimited in Lowest Price possible.

    Too much to ask? -.-

    • It might happen soon or maybe in a few years. In the US at least, subscribers are downgraded to 128kbps (nearly EDGE speeds) when they use up their monthly caps on 3G/4G.

  • will their b extended coverage provided for 3g when launched officially or is it just going to be same areas ???

  • People in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Karachi… You are all requested to deactivate 3G services for the time being until the packages are announced and you have subscribed to them. Otherwise it might result in deduction of your balance as flat packages of Rs.20/MB would be applicable to all using 3G. Just a precaution :)

  • I think to understand data usage in GB’s I will have to learn Calculus again :-P

  • From above calculation 20Mb = 20 RS
    And 100Mb = 100Rs
    1 GB = 1000Rs

    Am i right??

  • Packages launched
    Dial *3#
    From your ufone number.
The rumored packages i.e 256/512/1mb/3mb are really true.
3gb 1 month speed upto 3mb costs rs:1500. Damn its gonna be expensive am stucking with my nitro cloud 1500/month for 30gigs.

  • Its a shame that they have launched commercial services without even covering the entire city. Half of lahore still isnt covered.

  • Biggest fraud of the year by ufone!
Pure karachi me launch nhi kia jo shayad isi waja se pehle launch kia k apne customers barhane k liye. Rate is very expensive aur sirf selected areas me coverage haihai.

  • Lahore is the big city..3G services is also limited in lahore areas
