Startup Expo 2015 to Showcase Over 100 Startups

What is Startup Expo 2015 About?

The Startup Expo 2015 is an annual entrepreneurial event scheduled to be held on April 25, 2015 at Pak-China Friendship Center Islamabad. It is an opportunity for over 100 startups to showcase their talent before a sizable crowd. More than 5000 visitors are expected to attend this festival of entrepreneurs.

Startup Awards For the Finest of Them All

There are a total of ten exclusive awards for the participants in the event. So, it is not just a case of entrepreneurs displaying products and services but visitors can also expect some tough competition among the startups. The contest will be judged by a well-respected panel of judges. It includes CEO Nayatel Wahaj Siraj and Executive Director LUMS Center for Entrepreneurship Khurram Zafar to name a few.

What Will Startup Expo 2015 Offer Attendees?

The idea behind the Expo is to provide a platform for startups to establish themselves on a wider scale. It aims to promote their success by helping them present themselves before bigger audiences. In the process, the interaction with highly experienced entrepreneurs and mentors within the industry surely goes a long way.

For those interested, tickets are now available on the official Startup Expo website. There are three kinds to choose from: Conference ticket (Rs. 1,500), Book a stall (Rs. 35,000) and Package for startups (Rs. 15,000). More details about each of these can be found on the website.

Who is Organizing Startup Expo 2015?

Startup magazine has taken up this fine initiative with a mission to not only celebrate but inspire entrepreneurs in Pakistan. Following a year of its inauguration by former CEO Engro Asad Umar, the company continues to develop Pakistan’s entrepreneurial culture. It educates small businesses with resources such as startup tips and basics, insights and analysis, opinions from leaders as well as events such as Startup Expo, of course.
